Action 33

     During the last nine months we visited occasionally Nikola Ilic and his mother Petrija, bringing them things that were necessary: diapers, fruit, vegetable etc. Two times we wisited them with priest who was reading him prayers for sooner recovery.

     The doctors took the X-ray of Nikola's brain in June, and they said that it was pretty much damaged. They suggested Petrija to take Nikola home for few months and try to organize their life.

     Nikola is in bed for 3 years so far and only because of his mother, who devoted her whole life to Nikola, he does not have decubitis. Doctor Nikola Dimitrijevic thinks that it would be good for Nikola to have a wheel chair because that is the only way for Nikola to stay out of bed. Because of that we decided to buy him a wheelchair in Rudo, on August 22nd 2003. If you want to see the bill click here.

     We used the money we got from our charitable donors, Ortodox Christian Comunity from Pale (Serbian Sarajevo). They gave us 100 euros together with the rest of our brothes connected with Serbian Orthodox church and St Jovan Kronstat.

     We sent the wheelchair by bus on September 6th 2003.
