One day we received a letter from Dragana Jocic. She asked for our help. She
sent the letter by e-mail and in the letter she said the following:
'My name is Dragana and I am asking you for help. I nave an aunt who desperately needs help. She is divorced and she has a five-year-old girl that is seriously ill. She is in a difficult financial situation and she can't buy the necessary medicines for her child because the alimony is too low. All these years she fought alone but now she needs your help, so I am asking you to help her. Any kind of help would be welcomed.
I was wondering if you could help her, and if it is necessary for her to send you the documents that confirm the disease that her child is suffering from?
My e-mail adress is jocicl@eunet.yu . I am looking forward to your answer.
Thank you.
Dragana Jocic'
After we had received this letter we contacted Dragana and found out that she
had sent this letter on behalf of Snezana, Vladana's mother, since she
had seen our web site and decided to write to us.
In the meantime, Vladana's mother sent us the letter of almost the same contents
as Dragana's letter, and the copies of the documents as well. At the same board
meeting, held on 24th June 2002, where we decided to donate money to Nikola
Nikic from Kragujevac (see:
action 17), we also decided to donate 3.000 dinars to
Vladana Colovic as our first help. We donated the money on 5th August
2002 on her bank account: 45700-620-0-37 (09 50220-45-20369760) at Novi Sad
bank.

details about Vladana's case. |
