On 28th June 2002 we visited, for the second time, the center for the disabled children in Veternik. It was the day after the celebration of their 30th anniversary. The day we chose as the day of our donating was also a great Serbian holiday. It was the day dedicated to those Serbian heroes who, led by the duke Lazar, had given their lives for their country. What a nice day for the celebration!
We donated the medicines (their value was 26.801,20 dinars). We bought the medicines at 'Velepharm' (click here if You want to see bill with specification of medicines we bought), and we also got the receipt from the director of the center, Mrs Mira Radin (clik here if You want to see receipt).
We were again welcomed as cordially as possible by the director of the center, Mrs Mira Radin, as well as by the center wards. Such a place, people or children you can rarely find. At least my friends and I could not. That kind of cordiality, warmth, sincerity and love, especially love, with which they welcome you, you will hardly find anywhere in this world. This home, the employees, the wards and the guests are protected by an unselfish love of a woman. Just to remind you, there are over 600 children and over 200 employees there. Every day you can see old and new friends of this center coming here with only one goal: love and charity.
Once again I would like to suggest to those running companies, firms, cities and, above all, to the government people that they should visit this place because they can learn a lot here - above all how to run a serious institution in a very difficult circumstances. Many would be ashamed.
I also invite parents who have problems with their children to come here. Here they can get rid of their acute-chronic condition concerning its psychological- spiritual aspect. They should come here and make sure of what I am saying.
We were here for lunch during which we met some other friends of this center. Among them were a married couple Pinne, Eda and Horst from Germany who had been coming to Serbia for ten years then, helping children. There were also the poets Dusko Trifunovic, Mosa Odalovic, a painter Bogoljub Arsentijevic-Maki, Ljiljana Rancic (Madam Piano) and others.
After we had spent the whole day there we were asked: 'When are you coming again?', we said: 'We are looking forward it!'
