Action 15

     This 15th action, also the very first action for the fifth group of children (from Children Charity Organization Desa Program - Children stopped in their psycho-physical development and children in need of the orthopedic and other helping accessories), I decided to visit the center for the disabled children in Veternik.

     Everything we got from the Serbian culture club in Luxemburg, together with some clothes and money (for which we got receipt - click here if You want to see it), we donated to those children.

 


Professor Mira Radin

     Those two hours we spent talking to a director, a professor Mira Radin, and a number of employees will stay forever in our hearts. The love Mrs Mira shares with people around her and the love with which she does her job in this great institution is impressing, and it is hard to stay indifferent when you see that. At the very gate we met two people from that institution who welcomed us as we had already met. That was something that we felt all the time during our visit. Mrs Mira had been a director of the center for ten years by then, and she told us about the problems she had had during that period. The hard days were especially during the NATO bombing when she had to deal with the elementary problems in the center.

     But God is Love! Everyone who has love inside of him and especially the one who devotes his life to helping others, wins. That is how this institution makes the best results- thanks to this great mother, woman, pedagogue and a perfect manager.

 

 

     I modestly think that many people who are involved in public jobs, especially the politicians, should ask or even pay in order to learn many useful things for the society as well as for themselves. I would also suggest to those who forgot the point of life and almost lost their soul, to come here and give their contribution, and assure themselves of the warmth of the spiritual contact of the true emotions, which could only be felt by the pure soul. Our stay here and our help to those God blessed people had only one purpose - their salvation.

     The one, who gives to a poor man, borrows from God, and God will pay him for his good deed.
